I've been feeling super colourful recently with my work.. This is very unlike me. It's probably the indecisive weather making me think like a little confused flower ready to bloom before it's even spring! o_O

'Cry of the Wolves'

This was by far one of the craziest shoots I've done, but also one of the best!

I was so excited and determined to shoot this concept before the end of the year as I knew I would be in recovery after an operation during the last weeks of 2011. Everything was planned and pulled together in a matter of days thanks to my amazing team and a couple of lovely dog owners!

The thought of shooting with THREE huskies both excited and terrified me! I knew I would fall in love with them as soon as I met them, but I had no idea how they would react to the studio, let alone letting me photograph them with constant flashes going off regardless of their owners reassuring me they were well trained. Much to my relief they all behaved amazingly, even if they did try to eat the 'snow' :)
